Pizza robot, (character animation)

This is my character animation. I did it in after effects after drawing and editing the images in photoshop. I used 4 different scenes/backgrounds to create the illusion of the pizza robot traveling. I used key frames to move the robot across the screen. I also used all the skills I learned in the unit while making other animations in after effects. I also used music from iMovie to make the movie more lively. The project was important because i now know how to make multiple quality scenes and string them together in after effects.

This is my polything. To do this i learned how to make shadows and lights in maya.

Castle project

I made the castle in maya. I learned how to make Shapes and duplicate them. I also learned how to aadd textures to the shapes.

Jeremy's Corn field!!

This is my corn field animation. I made it in photoshop and imported to after effects.

In this project i learned about making things move based on the perspective. I made it from the perspective of some one walking next to the field.

I learned how to use only two key frames in the animation as oppose to a lot of key frames.

I also learned learned to change the color on different items depending on which layer they are on.

character_PIZZA ROBOT!!!!

My character is the pizza robot. I designed it to be a cool robot that delivers pizza instead of failed high school kids that work at pizza hut.

I had trouble making the legs move in time with each other. i kept getting the key frames confused and lost.  When i got one leg to move right it was hard to make the second leg to move with the first one.

I learned how to make body parts move together in after effects. I learned how to parent different body parts to each other. I also learned how to add a back. The one issue I had was making the two legs look like they are walking and not floating. If a could redo it I

would add more color to the robot itself. I feel my animation is pretty good but not amazing.

Jeremy's worm that looks like a hot dog!

I made this video in after effects. I had to learn squash and stretch. I made my worm in photoshop and imported it to after effects. I made a copy worm and made it parent the other worm so it looked like it was a shadow from the original worm.

color wheel

This is  the color wheel i made in wed design. I made it in adobe illustrator.i had to make the correct shapes and drag them to the right spot. I learned the differences between photoshop and illustrator. this was the first time i used illustrator. 

Jeremy's bouncing ball !!!

This is the bouncing ball I made in animation. I had to learn how to use after effects. I learned how to export the image of the ball from photoshop to after effects. I learned how to make the ball bounce and have a realistic path of movement. I also learned the differences between after effects and photoshop.
